This woman is a not of this world. She is talented in too many ways to mention, beautiful in an "old-Hollywood-glamour-punk-rock" kind of way that only she can be. A mother of 3 boys and wife to (another) rather handsome rockstar. She always looks effortlessly amazing, and perfectly styled. 

Whether she's polished and lady like, or wearing combat boots and a beanie- she nails it every time.

Britt's Picks // Elsie Embroidered Tunic

Hooray for FALL!! I am loving these crisp mornings here in the Northwest. There's definitely signs of the season. Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year. Sure, Summer is nice...but Autumn is magical. 

I love unpacking all my sweaters and coats. Fall clothing has always been my favorite. But...it's not quite wool sweaters and cable knit scarves yet. It's not tank tops and shorts either. September is always a time for transition. Swap out those bright hues that remind of us sunny poolside days for warmer, deeper colors and more muted tones.

 Find pieces that can easily be worn on their own on warmer days, and layered up when it gets cooler. 

I love this DRESS/TUNIC because it's a perfect transition piece.

Worn here, on it's own with boots and topped with a hat, makes a perfect outfit for those September days that still require sunglasses and riding with the windows down. As it gets cooler, ad wool tights or leggings and a denim jacket or a chunky cardigan. 

I always look for pieces I can wear all year long. This is one of them!

Early Fall 2014

FINALLY!

Can you feel it in the air? That little crispness in the morning? Ahh...it's like heaven. I love summer as much as the next girl, but I'm never sad to say goodbye, because that means golden leaves, happy little pumpkins, and PSL at Starbucks!

Here are 5 of our favorite trends happening right now...

1. BOYFRIEND JEANS (AKA MOM JEANS)

Love the slouchy comfy look and feel of a good boyfriend cut jean. They can definitely become frumpy looking if they are paired with the wrong shoes or top. Wear them with heels, sandals, or a ballet flat. 

2. ORANGE LIPSTICK

A bright punchy lip can save your whole day. Poppy orange is a nice change from the dramatic look of red. It's brighter, lighter, and more fun!

3. KIMONOS

Dressed up, dressed down, over a dress, over jeans, over shorts... however it's worn, it looks amazing. 

My personal favorite kimono right now is THIS ONE

4. OVERALLS

I am all about the overalls. May they live on forever and ever. It's like putting on the 90's. 

Wear them with heels, and a fitted top for a polished look, or over your favorite graphic tee or tank and sandals to keep casual. 

5. PINK OMBRE HAIR

This one's for the blondes. Subtle pastel pink through platinum blonde is so gorgeous. It's so feminine and a little edgy. I dare you to do it.
