Ok everyone, I had to share some recent finds that I’m super excited about. I’ve been having excellent luck at a certain thrift store…I keep going back and it keeps delivering! Woo hoo! Today let me show you two of my recent finds and how I take them to next level with styling.
(Striped dress)
I almost squealed for joy right in the middle of the thrift store when I found this gem. Black and white never goes out of style and the vertical stripes are super flattering, so I definitely snatched up this beauty. Look for colors and patterns that are timeless. Don't be afraid of something just because it looks simple on the hanger (or in the pile) try on everything…you'll be surprised at the way some things will look on your body! Here I styled this dress with emerald green tights and black wedges. Add a top knot and some sparkle for extra polish.
(Love Struck Chunky Sweater)
How adorable is this? You better believe I’ll be getting cozy by the fire this winter in this sweetheart of a sweater. Chunky sweater + skinnies + booties = stylish, cozy winter wear….awwww yea! Throw in some pig tails? Why not??
I love to find items that might seem totally outdated, and then make them modern and relevant by staying them with contemporary, on-trend pieces.
